Conservation
Conserving life on land
This project creates an agroforestry system wherein a diverse range of trees are planted alongside food crops to rebuild ecosystems.
- Timber, avocado and mango trees planted alongside crops
- Maximizes food production and restores degraded soils
- Strengthens communities against desertification
Community
Supporting local farmers
The forest restoration project directly improves livelihoods through integrated agroforestry farming systems that boost agricultural productivity.
- Creates local employment opportunities
- Each farmer allocates 1–2 acres for their forest garden
- Community members plant and maintain the trees
