Ethyl Oleate Liquid NF

Overview

Oleaginous vehicle and lipophilic solvent supplied as the ethyl ester of oleic acid (CAS 111-62-6; C20H38O2; MW 310.51 g/mol). It is a clear, colorless to pale yellow, oily liquid that is practically insoluble in water, miscible with ethanol, vegetable oils, and mineral oil, and susceptible to oxidation upon exposure to air and light.
