Overview

Electrolyte replenisher and tonicity-adjusting agent supplied as the anhydrous sodium salt (CAS 7647-14-5; NaCl; MW 58.44). It presents as a white crystalline powder, is freely soluble in water, soluble in glycerin, and slightly soluble in ethanol, and absorbs moisture at high relative humidity.
