Overview

Oleaginous excipient and emollient supplied as refined, bleached, and deodorized coconut oil (CAS 8001-31-8). It presents as a white to off-white unctuous semisolid that melts to a clear liquid between 23 °C and 26 °C, is practically insoluble in water, very slightly soluble in ethanol, miscible with fixed oils, and should be stored in airtight containers protected from light and heat.
