Product Description
Constructed with a powder-coated cold-rolled steel exterior and an electropolished stainless steel interior, this four-foot wide containment hood features a work zone measuring 43.5 inches wide, 21.5 inches deep, and 22 inches high over a dished work surface. The unit incorporates dual HEPA exhaust filtration rated at 99.99% efficiency at 0.3 microns, disposable pre-filters, a motorized sliding safety-glass sash, microprocessor controls, LED task lighting, and a low-flow airflow alarm. It is used for particulate containment during the weighing, measuring, and blending of active pharmaceutical ingredients when preparing non-sterile dosage forms such as capsules, suspensions, and topical preparations.
