This individual replacement roller is constructed from precision-ground ceramic and designed for use in the Dermamill 100 three-roll ointment mill. Marked with three dots to identify position number three in the roller assembly, the component is individually removable to facilitate thorough cleaning, maintenance, and correct reinstallation. It is utilized during mechanical ointment milling to achieve particle size reduction, deagglomeration, and uniform dispersion in compounded semi-solids such as creams, ointments, and gels.
